§ Mr. Sorensenasked the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs what financial support Her Majesty's Government are giving to the United Kingdom Committee for the International Co-operation Year.
§ Mr. George ThomsonHer Majesty's Government warmly support the purposes of the International Co-operation Year and welcome the work being done by the United Kingdom Executive Committee. They have agreed to contribute £ 10,000 towards the initial administrative and publicity expenses of this Committee. The House will in due course be asked to vote that amount by means of a Supplementary Estimate. In the meantime an advance will be obtained from the Civil Contingencies Fund.
