§ Mr. Hector Hughesasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will state his plans for the development of trade, industry, commerce and employment in North-East Scotland, with particular reference to the City of Aberdeen.
§ Mr. RossThe Government are, as my hon. and learned Friend knows, preparing both a national plan and regional plans to promote economic development, with special reference to the under-employed areas of the country. It will take some time yet to finalise and co-ordinate these plans.
