Mr. Stonehouseasked the Minister of Transport what instructions he has given to the British Railways Board, following reports by Transport Users' Consultative Committees on proposed closures, with regard to the retention of passenger railway services in the West Midlands, in view of the congested road conditions and the unsuitability of alternative bus transport.
