§ 39. Mr. Holtasked the Minister of Transport how many copies exist of the Central Office of Information Buchanan film, "Traffic in Towns"; and what steps are being taken to increase the number of copies and make the film more readily available throughout the country.
§ Vice-Admiral Hughes HallettThere are 24 copies in existence, seven having been sold, and 17 available on loan from branches of the Central Film Library. Three more are on order, which will give the Central Film Library a total of 20 prints, and an overall total of 27 in existence. Bookings for May and June are fairly heavy but some dates in68W these months are still available. There are no difficulties at present for dates after June. Stocks are replenished according to demand. It would be uneconomic to carry larger stocks in the Central Film Library.
