Mr. Awberyasked the Minister of Transport if he is aware that blueprints were prepared a considerable time ago by two British firms of nuclear merchant ships and that a nuclear-powered 80,000-ton tanker could be worked more cheaply than a conventional vessel after the initial outlay; and if he will make further inquiries into these possibilities from the engineering firm concerned.
