Mr. Thorntonasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies why the Government of Hong Kong refused to divulge the names or other information concerning a senior Public Works Department officer who had been suspended from duty and had had disciplinary proceedings instituted against him, and an expatriate police inspector who had been suspended from duty pending disciplinary action; and whether this withholding of information 145W applies to all grade of Hong Kong Government officers and employees.
