Member for East Ham, North, forwarding a resolution from the East Ham Chamber of Commerce in similar terms; and how many letters and resolutions he has received on this subject.
Mr. M. MacmillanThe letters in question have been acknowledged and my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer has informed the hon. Member that he will bear these representations in mind. My right hon. Friend has received similar representations from over 350 councils, bus undertakings and other interests.
