§ Mr. R. A. ButlerThe time taken to grant visas to Czechoslovakians depends upon the circumstances and urgency of each application, but for most categories of visitor the average time is two weeks. Recently, British tourists wishing to visit Czechoslovakia have been granted visas immediately or within a day or two. Visas for other categories of British visitor, including businessmen, generally take just under two weeks.
