§ Q9. Mr. Brockwayasked the Prime Minister, following his official discussions with the President of the United States of America, what assessment he has made of the extent to which the situation in South Vietnam is delaying the holding of an international conference to guarantee the neutrality of Cambodia.
§ The Prime MinisterThe hon. Member is premature in supposing that there has been any delay. The earliest date so far suggested for a conference on Cambodia is April, which was put forward by Soviet Government. Meanwhile, there is a good prospect of direct negotiations between Vietnam and Cambodia.
