§ Mr. Owenasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer when coast preventive men are to be equipped with light vans instead of motor-cycles.
§ Mr. GreenThe Customs have already started trials to establish the relative merits of light cars and motor-cycles for use on patrols by coast preventive men. I will let the hon. Member know the results as soon as these trials have been completed, which is expected to be about the beginning of next year.
