§ Mr. MarplesThere is no objection to duplicate records as such. The keeping of false records in any form is an offence under the Road Traffic Act, 1960, and the enforcement staffs of the licensing authorities take widespread action against it. Last year 8,500 convictions were obtained for records offences.
