§ Mr. Clark Hutchisonasked the Secretary of State for Industry, Trade and Regional Development if he is aware that the boycott of South African goods decided on by the Aderdeen Town Council is jeopardising the contract for nine trawlers placed by a South African firm with Messrs. Hall, Russell and Co.. Aberdeen; and, in view of the fact that this boycott is not supported by Aberdeen traders and manufacturers, if he will direct Her Majesty's Government's trade commissioner in South Africa to emphasise to the firm concerned that the contract can still be carried out in Aberdeen.
