§ 67. Mr. R. Edwardsasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he is aware of the appointment by the United Nations of the ad hoc committee of inquiry into the situation in Oman; and whether he will use his good offices within the United Nations to facilitate this investigation.
§ Mr. R. A. ButlerThis Committee was set up on 28th February and has not yet approached Her Majesty's Government. Her Majesty's Government will give sympathetic consideration to any requests from it on matters which fall within our competence.
