§ 39. Mr. J. Morrisasked the Postmaster-General what has been the outcome of his consultations with the 158W British Broadcasting Corporation on television reception in the Port Talbot area.
§ Mr. BevinsThe B.B.C. tells me that, while two-thirds of the population of Port Talbot can get the new Welsh service satisfactorily provided they use suitable aerials, reception in the old town is spoilt by screening. The B.B.C. is making a special study of the problem of reception in South Wales. In doing so, I am sure it will have regard to the hon. Member's representations.
