§ Mr. MartenThe formation in December, 1962, of the National Air Traffic Control Service introduced the complete integration of air traffic control planning. Civil and military planners are now working side by side to meet both civil and military requirements jointly. Equipment to provide a system of joint control centres by the end of this decade is already under production. This makes use of the latest data-processing methods and will be fed by a shared network of A.T.C. and Air Defence radars covering the whole country.
