§ 47. Sir A. Hurdasked the Secretary of State for Defence what arrangements have been made for supplying United Kingdom Armed Forces in Germany with eggs produced in the United Kingdom; whether tenders were invited; and which firm has secured the contract.
§ Mr. RamsdenEggs for the British Forces in Germany are bought by international competitive tendering among suppliers who have shown an interest in meeting the requirement. The successful tenderer for the 12 months beginning 1st May, 1964, was Alexander Mitchell Ltd. of London, who is supplying eggs produced in this country.
