Whether they can give the latest estimate of the population of each member of the United Nations and indicate in which countries the authority of the Government clearly derives from the formally expressed assent of the adult population.
§ THE EARL OF DUNDEEThe latest estimate of the population of each member of the United Nations is given below. The figures are in thousands and are based on data available on April 1, 1964, published by the United Nations in its Population and Vital Statistics Report.
Regarding the second part of the question, it is not the policy of Her Majesty's Government to comment on the form of government of other States which is essentially a domestic matter.
