§ Mr. E. Johnsonasked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will take further measures to improve the pensions of pre-Grigg officers' widows, now over 70 years of age, 77 per cent. of whom have been left on their old flat rates of pensions, particularly those of junior officers, 83 per cent. of whom now receive only £182 a year.
§ Mr. H. FraserI am afraid it is not possible to consider these widows in isolation.
