§ Mr. Hiltonasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if, before deciding to move Hamond's Grammar School from Swaffham, Norfolk, he will arrange for a public inquiry to be held on the matter.
§ Mr. HoggI reached my decision in this matter after careful examination of the arguments for and against the move, including close study of the objections that had been made. It is not the usual practice to hold a public inquiry in cases of this kind and I can see no good reason for making an exception.
