§ Mr. Spriggsasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what were the grants or subsidies to distribution of industry, aircraft industry, research and development, development, proving and production of transport aircraft, and the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research for each year since 1961, and up to the latest convenient date.
§ Mr. GreenI would refer the hon. Gentleman to the following tables in the Financial Secretary's Memorandum on the Estimates:
- (a) Assistance to private industry, etc., in the United Kingdom (Table X of the 1964–65 Memorandum);
- (b) Research and Development (Table III of the 1961–62 Memorandum; Table VI of the 1962–63 Memorandum; and Table VII of the 1963–64 and 1964–65 Memoranda).
