asked the Secretary of State for Defence what proportion of regular officers' pre-Grigg widows whose pensions have been re-assessed from 10th December last remained on their old flat rate pensions because they received no increases; what proportion of these are over 70 years of age; what proportion of widows of captains and below, and of equivalent ranks in the 237W Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force, remained on their old fiat rates; and what proportion of these are over 70 years of age.
