§ Mr. HoggProgress in medical research depends on new ideas of promise, which cannot be directly related to the supply of either scientists or money. However, I should expect the increasing number of qualified scientists to lead to the emergence of more first-class men and ideas, and thus to the continued expansion of medical research.
