§ Mr. MarplesThe Government have every sympathy with old age pensioners, but as the hon. Member is aware, we do not consider that benefits in kind, such as cheap fares, are the best way to help. A reply has been sent to the letter from the Trades Council in these terms. The hon. Member has been sent a copy.
