asked Her Majesty's Government:

What action they are taking to assist overseas countries in agricultural development, in the light of the recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Agriculture, Animal Health, Forestry and Fisheries appointed by the Secretary for Technical Co-operation, and if they will make a statement.

LORD CHESHAM

The Secretary for Technical Co-operation is publishing today the first report of his Advisory Committee together with an account of the work of his Department in this field.

Her Majesty's Government would like to thank Mr. Bawden, the Chairman of the Committee, and his colleagues for their valuable report, which has been accepted as the basis of the Department's work.
