§ Mr. BrookeMy plan was first to communicate with the relevant trade associations and other bodies concerned about the practicability of effective action by means of regulations under the Consumer Protection Act, 1961, and then, as soon as they had had time to reply, to arrange a meeting with them in order to consider the possible scope and form of regulations in detail. This meeting is taking place today.
