§ 18. Mr. Brockwayasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what progress has been made in the United Nations Sub-Commission on the Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities in the preparation of a draft international convention on the elimination of all forms of racial discrimination.
§ Mr. MathewThe Sub-commission, which included a United Kingdom member, has completed and unanimously adopted the substantive articles of a draft international convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial106W Discrimination. It has also adopted a preliminary draft on measures of implementation. These drafts will next be considered by the Human Rights Commission, which meets on 17th February.
