§ Mr. A. Robertsasked the Secretary of State for Industry, Trade and Regional Development if he will take steps to bring about closer official co-operation between his Department and the Federation of Industrial Development Associations.
§ Mr. HeathMy Department has had a number of discussions with the Federation of Industrial Development Associations in the last few years, and I am satisfied that adequate arrangements for co-operation already exist. Local authorities have access to the Board of Trade headquarters and regional offices at any time.
