§ Mr. Warbeyasked the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs when Her Majesty's Government intend to ratify the United Nations resolution enlarging the Security Council to 15 members and the Economic and Social Council to 24 members.
§ Mr. George ThomsonHer Majesty's Government are in favour of the proposed expansion of the Security Council from 11 to 15 members and of the Economic and Social Council from 18 to 27 members, and are at present considering the ratification of the General Assembly resolution proposing such an expansion. The resolution called for ratification of the necessary Charter amendments by 1st September, 1965.
