§ 87. Mr. A. J. Irvineasked the Minister of Power what estimate he has made of the extent to which the development of the generation of nuclear power is expected to increase the cost of electricity for consumers.
Mr. LeeWhen the present nuclear power programme is completed, the 57W Central Electricity Generating Board estimates that the additional annual costs will be about 1½ per cent. to 2 per cent. of the industry's revenue from sales of electricity.
