Accidental hypothermia in the elderly has recently been the subject also of a memorandum prepared by the British Medical Association for my Department and published in theBritish Medical Journal on 14th November. With the co-operation of the Association and the Journal, I have drawn the attention of all local health and welfare authorities and local medical committees to the memorandum as a timely reminder of an important problem, and have sent them copies.
