Mr. Shinwellasked the President of the Board of Trade, in view of the loss sustained in revenue through the indifference of importers and exporters towards British shipping, what measures he employs to persuade shippers engaged in export to utilise British shipping in preference to the use of vessels not registered in the United Kingdom.
