§ Miss HerbisonTo 31st March, 1964, about £12,109 million had been paid into the National Insurance Fund, including £2,058 million from the Exchequer; and about £11,027 million had been paid out in benefits. The figures for 5 year periods are conveniently brought together in the Reports by the 63W Government Actuary on his Quinquennial Reviews of the National Insurance scheme (the latest report (H.C. 20 Session 1964–65) was published on Friday 20th November). The Reports show also the administration costs.
