HC Deb 21 April 1964 vol 693 cc160-1W
Mr. Wade

asked the Minister of Health what consideration he has given to the removal of the charges made to patients for first-aid treatment under the provisions of the Road Traffic Act.

Mr. Braine

I would refer the hon. Member to the statement made by my right hon. Friend the Minister of Transport in the debate on the Road Traffic Bill on 17th July, 1962. The position remains unchanged. The charges are made, not to patients, but to vehicle users or their insurers.
