asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether he will give the values of the projects submitted for the school building programmes for 1965–66 by each local education authority; and what are the corresponding values of the projects he has approved.

NOTES:

(1). The values of Local Education Authorities' proposals shown in this table are based on estimates provided by the Authorities when the proposals were made: the values of approved programmes are those actually announced.

(2). Some Local Education Authorities did not make separate proposals for each of the three years 1965–68: in these cases the value of proposals shown in this table for 1965–66 is one-third of the total value of their proposals.

(3). A number of the 1965–66 programmes may he increased
