§ Mr. HayThere are at present two cruisers, fifteen destroyers and forty-nine frigates in full commission, and four cruisers, twenty-five destroyers and twenty-eight frigates in reserve or undergoing long refit, modernisation, conversion etc. It would not be in the public interest to reveal the number of ships in reserve awaiting disposal.
