§ Dr. Alan Glynasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs approximately what proportion of the increase in rates collected by Wandsworth Borough Council from the average householder was due to the effects of the revaluation on the distribution of rateable values within Wandsworth compared with the proportion attributable to the increase in the rate call by Wandsworth Borough Council.
§ Sir K. JosephI estimate that changes in the distribution of rateable values due to revaluation have added about 10s. to the rates paid by the average householder in Wandsworth this year. The increase in total rate call has added roughly another £7 6s., of which nearly two-thirds is attributable to the needs of the borough council.
