Mr. Abseasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, to obviate the possibility of a minor who is a married pregnant woman being gaoled for contempt of court, he will take steps to provide that signatures purporting to be a parent's consent to the marriage of a minor should be attested by a magistrate or a commissioner for oaths.
