HC Deb 21 November 1963 vol 684 cc126-7W
64. Sir C. Osborne

asked the Secretary of State for Industry, Trade and Regional Development if he will make a statement on his talks with Mr. George Ball, the United States chief adviser on East-West trade; and if he will give an assurance that British trade with the Communist countries will not be restricted because of United States pressures.

Mr. Heath

I had a full discussion with Mr. Ball on East-West trade, in the course of which I described to him Her Majesty's Government's policy which remains unchanged.
