HC Deb 20 November 1963 vol 684 c87W
39. Mr. Willis

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland why the estimated Exchequer-borne capital expenditure on classified roads in Scotland for 1964–65, as stated in Command Paper No. 2177, shows a reduction of £2.1 million as compared with 1963–64.

Mr. Noble

In 1964–65, £3.2 million less will be paid in respect of the Forth Bridge and the Clyde Tunnels as these will be completed during the year; there will be an increase of £1.1million in respect of other classified roads investment.
