§ Mr. Randallasked the Minister of Labour what further action he is taking to alleviate the unemployment situation 117W among school leavers and boys and girls under 18 years of age in the Gateshead and district employment exchange area.
§ Mr. WhitelawTyneside, including Gateshead, has recently been scheduled as a development district. I expect young people, along with older workers, to benefit from this and other measures which the Government have taken to increase employment opportunities. The Youth Employment Service will continue to do all it can to find suitable jobs for unemployed young people.
