asked the Postmaster-General if he is aware that there is unreasonable delay in delivering parcels to Northampton, and that the cause of this delay appears to be the use by the railway authorities of a temporary sorting depot at Kilburn; and what steps he is taking to remedy the trouble.

Yes, I am aware of the difficulties to which the hon. Member refers and the matter has been taken up with British Railways. I understand that there has recently been a marked improvement in the position.
