§ 79. Mr. Gourlayasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what representations he has received from local authorities requesting subsidies in respect of mobile houses manufactured by a Clyde shipbuilding company; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. NobleBurntisland Town Council recently inquired about subsidy for these houses and was told that this was under consideration. Glasgow Corporation has received borrowing consent for the purchase of 34 of these houses as a pilot scheme associated with redevelopment operations, but did not raise the question of subsidy.
