Mr. Pavitt

asked the Minister of Health what was the original cost of the operating theatre at each mental hospital in England and Wales with over 600 beds; what has been the maintenance cost for the past three years in each case; how many operations were performed in each case in the last 12 months; and what is the proximity in each case of the nearest hospital with a waiting list for general surgery operations.
