§ Mr. Masonasked the Postmaster-General if, with a view to assisting his Department in assessing public reaction to pay television experiments, he will set up an advisory committee composed of Members of Parliament from the pay television experimental areas.
§ Mr. BevinsThe statistical returns now being discussed with applicants are designed to give information on the public reaction to the experiment in each area. I am sure that hon. Members will bring to my notice any views received from their constituents, and my present view is228W that a special committee is not necessary. I will, however, bear what might be a helpful suggestion in mind.
