§ Mr. Barnettasked the Minister of Education (1) what specific proposals are being considered by his Department in collaboration with university and other educational authorities for methods to eradicate racial prejudice;
(2) what research projects are being undertaken or considered under the auspices of his Department to investigate educational methods of eradicating racial prejudice.
§ Sir E. BoyleThere is ample evidence of the success of the schools in building upon the natural freedom of young people from racial prejudice. The main problems seem to lie outside the control of the schools, and I have not therefore thought it useful to look to educational research 201W for their solution. If, however, any proposals are put forward I shall consider them sympathetically.
