§ Mr. Malcolm MacMillanasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is the position with regard to the provision of old people's houses in the Isle of Barra; and when it is estimated that these will be ready for occupation.
§ Mr. NobleI understand that Inverness County Council has now acquired a site in Barra suitable for houses for elderly people and hopes to invite tenders for the erection of nine 2-apartment houses soon. The Council is not yet able to estimate completion dates.
