§ 46. Sir J. Pitmanasked the Lord Privy Seal if he is aware of the desire of many private individuals and organisations to make voluntary contributions to the general or special funds of the United Nations Organisation; and if he will make special arrangements to facilitate this.
§ Mr. P. ThomasThe General Assembly, with the support of the United Kingdom Delegation, last month adopted a resolution requesting the Secretary-General to study the desirability and feasibility of establishing a peace fund through voluntary contributions, includ- 3W ing contributions from private organisations and individuals. Her Majesty's Government are now awaiting the outcome of the Secretary-General's study.
