Mr. Critchleyasked the Secretary of State for Air what consideration he has given to the plan put to him by 57W Mr. Harvey de Weerd of the Rand Corporation, Santa Monica, California, to allow Bomber Command operating facilities on some of the far northern Strategic Air Command American and Canadian air bases, so as to improve the ability to survive of the V-bombers and to further co-operation between the United States Air Force and the Royal Air Force.
