§ Mr. NobleThe latest figures on farm incomes in Scotland are for 1961–62 for a sample of about 600 farms for which accounts are available from the economics departments of the three agricultural colleges.
The following table shows the average farm acreage (crops, grass and rough grazings) and average net incomes in three size groups (measured by labour requirements) and six main type groups for this sample.
