§ Mr. MarplesWhen my Department made inquiries just over a year ago there were post-graduate courses in highway and traffic engineering at the Universities of Birmingham, Durham and London, and at the Royal College of Science and Technology, Glasgow. In the time available it has not been possible to find out whether any additional courses are being provided in this academic year. I am assured that the universities can provide post-graduate training for more engineers as they come forward; the need is to stimulate the demand.
